What has been your experience as an international student like? (If applicable)
I'm a domestic student, but I love having people from all around the world to learn about different areas. It's really interesting and a great way to find out more about what's going on!
What are your favorite thing(s) about Andover?
THE PEOPLE. Everyone here is so nice and funny. I can't go a day without smiling or laughing. It's great to know that the community will always be light-hearted, even when I'm not.
How does Andover compare to your home?
It's a lot more diverse than I'm used to, which I really like. It helps me understand new perspectives towards issues around the world. I've always lived in the same town, so it's really nice to learn about the world "outside the bubble."
Briefly talk about an interesting experience you had while visiting another part of the world (if applicable).
When I was in India this summer, I met with leaders and organizers of huge NGOs and organizations that are making positive impacts in their communities. Further, people’s love and pride drove their interactions. It motivated me to be more active in my communities, in and outside of Andover and taught me how to organize for real change.
