I love lawning with my friends on warm spring nights and having long dinners after crew practice. I also love walking in the Quads ( where some of the dorms are located). During the fall, I love seeing everyone coming back and being super rested. I also really love the final week of fall when we dress up.
How does Andover compare to your home?
I think Andover is definitely more diverse than my old school in Moscow; in fact, there were not many people who were not from Moscow while here, there are people from over one hundred different countries. I also think people are just genuinely kinder and more caring which is probably the case because Andover is a lot more of a community than just a regular school where you come here, go to class and then leave. Here, everyone does so many cool exciting things like research projects, international competitions and more so being around all of that definitely makes you respect a lot of people who come here.
Briefly talk about an interesting experience you had while visiting another part of the world (if applicable).
When I visited Jerusalem with my family, I remember someone offered us a camel for my sister’s and mine hair. I thought that was pretty cool.
