What languages can you speak?
I speak French (my mother-tongue) and a little bit of Japanese (4th year of Japanese). Oh and I also speak English.
What extracurricular activities are you involved with on campus?
I am on the Board of PICA investment club, I write for the Phillipian (school newspaper), I am part of the Philomathean Society (debate club), I am in JV/V Water Polo and V tennis, and I am in both the Amadeus Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra because I play the cello.
What are your favorite thing(s) on campus?
I love going downtown with friends (in the town of Andover to get coffee or CVS food or Dunkin’ Donuts). I also love spending time on the lawn (just grass basically) and playing spike ball or throwing a Frisbee with friends.
How does Andover compare to your home?
Um, to be honest it is pretty different from it; however, different doesn’t mean bad, and in this case, it means more like amazing. I’m having such a blast and even though in my old school I constantly had a lot more free time, here I get a lot more things done and I still have some time on the weekend to relax and enjoy the New England weather, no matter what it is.
Briefly talk about an interesting experience you had while visiting another part of the world (if applicable).
When I went to Costa Rica over winter break I really had an enjoyable experience. I stayed for two weeks in a national park finding sloths, monkeys, tapirs, and crocodiles. It is the world’s most “biologically intense place on earth” with over 140 types of mammals, 350 types of birds and 10000 types of insects. I got to meet some people that I will always remember and I will never forget some of the experiences I had.
