What are your favorite thing(s) on campus?
My favorite things on campus is the Addison and the people. I love going to the Addison and doing homework. It is a really quiet and calming place to do work. I also love the people here. I have made some of my best friends here who I know will always be there for me.
How does Andover compare to your home?
I live in Detroit which is a large city and Andover is just a small town. Here I can walk everywhere, but back home it is more difficult to walk places. Both places, I feel at home and comfortable and I am so glad that I am able to call them my homes.
Briefly talk about an interesting experience you had while visiting another part of the world (if applicable).
My father is from Spain so I have spent much time visiting family there. During the summer time after my cousins and I ate dinner we would walk into town and go to the heladería, this little ice-cream shop in town. I loved doing this, but I always found it so strange because my youngest cousins would come with us and it was around 9:30 pm. My little 4-year-old cousins would even join us. Back home in Michigan, I was expected to be in bed at 9:30, but here in Spain I never had to go to bed early. I was always allowed to do what the other cousins did. I will always remember these summer trips to the heladería and cherish the memories forever.
